Loving the book lists but the app is disappointing because there are glitches. The price would say 0 dollars for a book when it has a price.

The scans are generally high-quality, and the app is easy to use. However, there are occasional glitches that can prevent you from reading your purchased material no matter how many times you restart the app. This would be less of a problem if there were A) a clear way of obtaining tech support or B) personal accounts that remember your purchases even if you delete the app itself. Both VIZ and Yen Press already have the latter, which is vital if you want your customers to feel secure when buying a digital copy of their manga instead of a physical one. Now that DMP is switching over entirely to digital releases, thats even more important. Its also worth mentioning that not all translations are up to par. Make sure you read a review before purchasing anything, lest a shoddy translation ruin the entire story for you.

This app used to work, but it no longer shows me any manga. Theres nothing on the list to buy and I cant even access the manga I all ready own. I have even tried deleting and reinstalling the app.

The store doesnt seem to load anything. It just gives me the banner on top and two ads that lead you to the official website. The store itself doesnt seem to exist in the app… : /

The books look great, and all the swiping and zooming is intuitive. I spent way too much time going through all the previews and now I need to figure out how to delete them from the app to free up space :P Books are a couple dollars more than on eManga, but I like reading on my iPad so its worth it.

I just got this app but I already see some flaws. There dont seem to be any filters to search with - just all the titles lumped together. No genre, no author, nothing. Also theres no way to keep track of books you may have bought prior to owning the app by some other means. I see potential but right now Im glad it was free

Is it just me, or is there no way to alphabetize the offerings? Or indeed, to sort them in any way? Ive bought three books so far, and none of them have finished downloading, so I cant read any of them, and the downloading seems to have stalled, and I cant see any way to restart it. This is on the itouch, so Im going to try again on the ipad and see if that works out better, since they may not have gotten their itouch support up to speed yet.

I downloaded (thank God) 1 manga but the process was stalled and in the end I could not read anything! I wrote to Digital Publishing Store Support for help, but alas theyre no help either. And I quote, "Thank you for your inquiry. You are experiencing a COMMON technical error caused by poor wi-fi connection. When you are downloading a book, please be sure to have a strong internet connection. Please re-try downloading again. Apple will double charge you for the item you already own", and un-quote. Whats wrong with this picture? If its such a COMMON error, the DEVELOPERS of this app should already do something about it. Im not God, you know, I have no control of the wi-fi signal (whether to make it stong or not)! So are they telling me its my fault that I have a poor internet connection? Download again? Charge me double? I might as well buy the real tangible manga then. If the same thing happens again, what happens then? So in other words your just eating my hard earn money for NOTHING! Im not usually the ranting type but I feel cheated! UBER DISAPPOINTED people...UBER, UBER DISAPPOINTED!!!

I bought the manga "Warning! Whispers of Love" and it all just looks dark...and wont let me buy it again. I really want to read it. Q.Q T.T I even turned my ipad on and off... Btw: This is my first purchase... Help... Anyone know another app where I could buy the manga from?.?

Yaoi? Really? 90% of the products are Yaoi! Im no interested in gay literature. Way over priced, and from what I understand poorly designed so that apple may charge you multiple times. This product holds no interest for me, DELETE!

I can already tell Im going to be spending way too much money in this app. Hopefully DMP can add even more of their titles, although I think theyve got a pretty decent selection already. The scans are good enough that I have no trouble reading them, even on something as small as my iPod touch.

This app doesnt even come close to listing all the manga and books that are available on the full website. Its like they only listed their most popular yuri manga. On top of that, there is no search option and no organized categories. This app seems incomplete. Its easier to search on the website than to use this app. Id wait for some updates before downloading this app.

I keep trying to load the app on my iPad gen3 but nothing comes up. It does not even look like it is trying to DL data off the internet.

So I got this I spent 13$ on a yaoi book and before I finished it like in a day or two it was gone! It wants me to buy again and I want my. Money beck

I was happy to have an app where I could read my favourite bl manga but the app itself is incredibly buggy where it comes to downloads as well as organisation. The "manage downloads" button does nothing and if a download gets interrupted, youre left with a blank book and no other choice than to download the app and books all over again. I hope these issues are addressed in later updates. Its nice to have manga to read on my iPad but the app itself could use a lot of work.

I got this app bought a lot of the book and then they disappeared and now I have to buy them again if so then I want my MONEY back from the previse books I bought

I have had this app since I got my Ipod, a very long time and I have never noticed a problem until today. Now I have, or had bought: Priceless Honey-7.99 A Rose Coloured Life Vol. 2-7.99 Eternal Love-7.99 The Aristocrat and the Desert Prince-7.99 And I went in to re-read them today, and not only were they gone, but they were no longer shown as bought. The app does not even show up in my iTunes downloads, and I never deleted it; I loved this app until I found out the books I had bought were gone. Thats 31.96 down the drain with your app. I would demand a refund but you will most likely not give me one. What I want to know if this has happened to anyone else or if it is just me. This has thuroughly angered me, as the money I spent on this app will most likely not be returned, and the app has somehow managed to delete all of my bought books.

I bought ONE manga from this app, the download finished and I read a few pages before putting the iPad to sleep. I turned it back on to resume later and the manga was GONE. there is no feature like in apples stores to re-download purchases. I wrote an email to the Applications staff and they gave worthless advice that was a non sequitur to my request. THANKFULLY when I wrote to apple for help they refunded my purchase. Fair warning people, YOUR PURCHASES MAY DISAPPEAR AT ANY MOMENT IN THIS APP AND THE DEVELOPER DOESNT CARE. Let the buyer beware.
